Lee, phyllis & Gary's, Secret Bay Memories

The Sea Rovers Brethren's ranks continue to swell with the addition of Lee, Phyllis and Gary our American affiliates. Below are just a small taste of some of the many, many underwater photograph that Lee took during their time here. This time I chose some of his Secret Bay photo's as I liked them the best. First a Self Portrait of the Photographer himself Mr Lee resplendent with his HydroOptics mask. Very dashing Mr Lee. Nice little Gobby takes a ride on a passing starfish. Probably be faster to swim, but hey, who's in a hurry. This is Bali after all. Yellow frogfish striking a dramatic pose. Often seen at Secret Bay and nicely photoed by Mr Lee. A folded nudibranch. Amazing what you can accomplish with origami and some sea lettuce. This Cuttlefish seems to have crash-landed in the sand, must have mucked up his landing. Aye Eye Mr Lee! Cool Catfish finish off this collection of interesting images from Lee. We look forward to seeing many more on your next trip out. By the w...

More Secrets From Secret Bay

Image
Another day of cold water (25C brrr..) and mucky vis in Secret Bay with dive buddy Kimmy More. No Frogfish this time but I did get a classic sea snake picture as it headed for the surface to get a breathe of fresh air. Mmm maybe I should wash my wetsuit :-) All in all two very long and one very lost (due to lousy vis, honest:-)dives. With plenty of stuff to be seen. The Captain Paul M Turley

Photo's By Bo & Steina

Image
Welcome Brethren to Bo & Steina's Photo's Bo & Steina come from Sweden and this is not the first time they have been here to sunny Pemuteran. But this is the first time I've had some photo's to post. I chose these out of 100 because 'I like them.' If you want to see more of Bo & Steina's photo's then visit their website. http://www.overklighet.se/ I hope you read Swedish as well, the photo's are in universal diver bubble language so easy to understand. As yet Bo hasn't uploaded the new Bali images so these will be a first peak. The images were taken in Pemuteran, Menjangan, Secret Bay and of course Mucky Pirates Bay. Bo is using a very nice Nikon D200 setup with Ikelite housing & Strobes. Steina had fuji Finepix with a Sea & Sea YS27 strobe. Like I said I had to narrow it down, I wanted to put more wide angle (the Commodore complains that we need more wide angle as we have tons of macro. I like macro! :-) But the guys wil...
