Surprise Indonesian Government Inspection

Image
In an attempt to crack down on the numerous illegal dive operators springing up all over Bali. The Indonesian government organised some surprise inspections. Basically, for those who don't read Indonesian this says that of seven dive companies in Pemuteran checked, only one divecentre located in inside Adi Assri Hotel (that would be us :-) had the legal paperwork to operate. That would mean that out of the current eleven divecentres in Pemuteran. More than half are operating illegally. Makes you think. The Captain

Underwater Wonders

More than 400 of the permanent sculptures have been installed in recent months in the National Marine Park of Cancún, Isla Mujeres, and Punta Nizuc ( map of the region ) as part of a major artwork called "The Silent Evolution." The installation is the first endeavor of a new underwater museum called MUSA, or Museo Subacuático de Arte. I can't help but remember when Pemuterans very own Underwater Temple Garden made a big splash across the media. Some described our conservation efforts as a theme park. I wonder what they will call this? Personally I think this is brilliant and I'd like to expand our own temple complex here. If they get anything like the coral growth we have here its going to be very interesting. The Captain
